The STM tested in passenger service from March 18th, 2008 to August 2008, 2 new Novabus LFS Artics demos both made in 2008. They ran on routes 69/80/165/535. Both buses have a Cummins ISL 330 HP engine with Novabus's new rear design and new front headlight setup. The first #40881, has a Voith transmission, is equipped with space for 1 wheelchair and doesn't have STM seating. The second #40882, is equipped with a ZF transmission, has space for 2 wheelchairs and does have STM seating.
